It is a turtle. Who knew – obviously the princess and I need to take remedial turtle/tortoise identifying classes. Sheesh. It is resting peacefully at the tortoise lady’s house in a kiddie pool while neighbor finds a home for it. I’m the transportation person in all this.
The weather turned cold again. Two and a half nice days and now it is cold and rainy again. It makes me crazy and very sad. I want spring. I pay a lot of money to live here for endless spring. I want my money back.
Last Friday I drove on a field trip for son’s class and we went whale watching from Santa Cruz. It was a beautiful day! Cool but very sunny and clear. Unfortunately we didn’t see any whales but we did see some otters, porpoises and dolphins.
We’re starting in on the crazy May – with the school squeezing in everything imaginable into the month so between field trips and a bunch of other stuff, I’ll start going crazy any day now. Well, crazier than normal.
I’ve got to get the trip to Scotland planned. Yeesh.
