Our bird babysitting duty is over. And it was time, I think the bird was just as happy to see her parents as I was. Lord was she high maintenance. And a drama queen and that is one thing this house doesn’t need, its more drama. Especially from the bird!!!We are settling back into normal. The prince had me pretty angry this afternoon but a friend offered me a glass of wine and now I’m okay. Amazing the restorative powers of a glass of wine and an ear to vent to so when the prince shows back up tonight I’ll probably be friendly. What a wonderful thing.
I really would like the weather to warm up a bit and stop raining.
Spike, the cockatiel, misses the macaw and is flying around the house looking for her. That is, when he’s not in the kitchen screaming. Damn bird. I should have told the macaw owners I’d babysit their bird if they took mine. I need to trade him in on a friendly bird.
I wish I could get our trip to Scotland planned for this summer but I can’t seem to focus. I can’t seem to focus on a lot of things lately. Makes me crazy when I’m like this.
Off to find the princess. It is actually sunny and nice outside so I may make her go on a walk with me. Of course she is snuggled up under a blanket watching t.v. so I think the odds that I get her out of the house will be slim. Maybe I should just go cuddle with her.
