1. Why did god make teenagers so surly? I’m pretty reasonable about most things so I’m not sure why he has to be so sarcastic. And yeah, I was upset tonight because I’m running all over attempting to get him home in time for something HE has going on and he wasn’t even concerned about being located. I don’t mind doing stuff for the little brat but really, does he think I don’t have anything else to do. Of course – he’s 13. What else would I be doing except thinking about and maintaining his schedule.
2. The kids and I are going to Santa Barbara tomorrow. I really don’t want to go because I don’t like the driving and I’m tired. All I had hoped for the weekend was to lie on the beach but the weather won’t cooperate so it looks like it will be too chilly. Husband wants us to go out to the islands and hike. Somehow a cold and damp boat ride out to an island to hike all day is NOT an acceptable substitute to lying on the beach.
3. I had my first mammogram today. Whoo hoo. It wasn’t nearly as bad and I thought it might be and was really only uncomfortable not painful. But geeze, I didn’t realize it was possible for boobs to squish like that.
4. So they found a finger in some chili at a local Wendy’s. Ugh. Can you even imagine?
5. Earlier today I had thousands of things to say but they are all gone. Nitey.
