1. I’m thankful I got my house clean on Monday. A burst of energy and the bathrooms are clean, floors vacuumed and mopped and house dusted.
2. I’m thankful that my ‘I’ve got to be busy all the time’ son decided that keeping up with his barbershop chorus in the midst of his rehearsals for the play he is in was just too much. That freed up last night (to cozy up on the couch with the kids to watch American Idol) and it will free up this Sat night and all day Sunday. Go prince.
3. I’m thankful that a much younger cousin is transferring to the local university. We will get to see her parents more (my aunt) and I’m thinking of asking her to be on my payroll. We’ll see how it goes but she has wheels and I need a driver. Could be win win…..assuming she wants a job. Fingers crossed for that potential life saver.
