The prince has started rehearsals on the play that will take us to Scotland. This week is particularly brutal since apparently the choreographer is from the east coast so is only in for this week so they learn ALL the dance numbers this week and the rehearsals are from 3:30 to 9:00 pm every day this week and all day Saturday. The schedule becomes more manageable for him starting next week but all in all I’ve lost about an hour a day due to driving him to and from rehearsals. Yeah, yeah. I signed on for this though that doesn’t make the reality any less hard to take.

I am thanking my lucky stars that I can still make the carpool work. If I’d not been able to do that, this darned play would have cost me 2 hours a day.

My biggest thing to do in the next couple of weeks is to get a bunch of doc appointments set. I need the annual exam (it has only been three years, shame), the big M, and a general physical. The physical mostly because I’m so tired of NOT SLEEPING I could scream (and I do, frequently). Last night was particularly bad because I had a lot on my mind with the kids start back to school and some work things so I was awake from 1:30 to 5:30 a.m. That makes getting up at 6:30 extremely difficult. And then I’m dragging all day.

So here’s to sleep. I need some.
