I’m off. After an exhausting summer schedule of running the kids around we are managing to get out of dodge for a bit. We headed out to Seattle today where we will visit a friend and her family to go camping this weekend (she is the only friend on the planet that I will go camping for…I won’t even do it for my husband alone…I hope she appreciates it !).

Then we are headed over to Vancouver. In a fit of last minute planning I realized last night that I don’t have a birth certificate for the princess so now I’m not sure they will even let us in Canada (or worse yet, back in the States). I’ve got social security cards for the kids so I’ll bring those and see if it works…fingers crossed.

The prince will be a bit upset when he learns we might have to hang out in Seattle on the revised schedule because he was really looking forward to getting out of the country. Ah well. Just when I think I’ve got things scaled back to a manageable level, I make a mistake like this. I hate that.

Time to quit dilly dallying and get in the shower. Have a nice August if I don’t get back in here.
