The kids convinced me that we really did have to see Harry Potter yesterday so off we went. Made it to the 5:30 show which was too crazy but you should have seen the line for the next show when we got out.

I liked it a bunch but the hype was so big I felt a little let down. And it was supposed to be darker but I didn’t necessarily catch that. And I think it didn’t finish the story…I’m going to go back through the book to see. I’d say more but don’t want to spoil it.

Gawd, it has been a stressful couple of weeks. Busy too. The kids have half day on Monday and then they are off for the summer and I still don’t have all their plans lined up. I’m way behind on work because of all the end of the year wrap up stuff at school (musical performances, art work reviews, etc) and the thought of having them home and me behind is a bit daunting. This is how I went into last summer and I never recovered and I swore it wouldn’t happen again. Oh well.

Off to start the day. At one point, I thought I was going to be by myself from noon until 9:00 pm which is an amazing amount of time but it looks like that isn’t to be. I’ll still have a big chunk of time to myself but it will be interrupted with dropping off and picking up kids. I thought the whole 9 hours in a row was too good to imagine and apparently it was.
