Someone actually said that to me today (not that many times, of course). Yesh. I’m so freaking anti change I’m going to be hell as an old lady. Don’t even mess with me when I’m 80 I’m going to be so stuck in my ways.

I get it of course. Change = Instability and I crave stability more than food. And I’ve been living in a fairly unstable situation for oh, about 4 plus years now. And really, this big change (moving the kids to a new school) is about providing longer term stability. But it is hell on me now. My stomach is in knots, haven’t slept in a few nights and please, don’t say boo to me now. I’ll probably cry.

Trish, thanks for your comment. Boys are weird and I do suppose you are absolutely correct that if he says it is okay it really is. Especially when he gets annoyed that I keep asking him if he is sure.

And LA, thanks too for letting me know I’m not the only person leery of change. I know I’m not, of course, but it always helps to have reassurances.
